$54,000 in Hot Wheels Recovered After Colton Train Burglary
Early on October 22, Colton police responded to a train burglary near Mason Street around 3 a.m. Officers spotted a black Chevrolet Silverado near 7th Street and La Cadena Drive.
After a traffic stop they arrested the driver (identified as 20-year-old Miguel Vega Acosta) and recovered Hot Wheels merchandise from the truck.
In total, roughly 350 boxes of the toy cars—valued at about $54,000—were recovered from the vehicle and the surrounding area.
The suspect was booked on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, and grand theft.
