Saddened to hear of the passing of @andymarkinc co-founder Mark Koors. Most humans don’t know his work on mecanum wheels was a breakthrough for FIRST teams that needed complex designs to run omni drives.

Hi, it's still an hour before my robotics team's 'end of year' banquet and I'm already crying at my desk because I can't hug my seniors goodbye :(

I first met @grantimahara at age 17. I mentioned I did FIRST & he was instantly more interested in my robotics experiences than talking about his own. When we'd cross paths at events, he'd check in on me, human to human.
What a tremendously inspiring person. What a loss.

I met Sally Ride when I was a youngster and I remember how much I wanted to be an astronaut like her. She was so smart and so cool. I wore my little pink flightsuit as often as I wore my princess dresses.
I still want to be Miss Sally when I grow up.
