Meanwhile, @Microsoft is making 60,000 employees reconsider their career choices.

Can a government force a company to un-sell itself?
China just did it to Meta, over a reported $2B deal for Manus.
It’s a good reminder that when you use an AI agent, you rarely ask who owns it or what it’s allowed to do.
Agents like Cue, Instinct and Muse can now send emails and spend money for you. Get it wrong and you can’t unsend it.

An AI agent is only as good as the context it acts on. So how do you know it has the right context before it starts taking actions?
You test it constantly. Set up evals and hooks that watch every agent run: how precise the tool calls are, and how good the context going in is. An agent needs a real understanding of what you’re asking, so it knows where to act and how.
Gokul’s bar for getting it right: “Don’t make me ask the next question.”

AI stole crypto, sold someone's keyboard, invited a stranger to their house, and helped hackers break into 100+ companies.
Meanwhile, India's internet security was held together by keys that weren't even that private.
The future is autonomous. The supervision is on leave.

I think better protocols will emerge for this. Think ONDC- which never really took off, for the right reasons primarily the end product experience and the operational intensity but I think the large platforms will ultimately have to give in and adapt to a common protocol. There is definitely an opportunity for agent commerce platform or a protocol that governs and ensures fair play.
The biggest advantage horizontal agents will have is their contextual understanding of the user. Vertical agents can’t keep up And it’s annoying to have to interact with a different agent every time you want to solve a specific problem and repeat your preferences.
Another way to think about this is horizontal agents talking to vertical agents through a protocol to get things done on your behalf.
I don’t think users will want to talk to 10 different agents. And when you think about it, that number could easily be 100 not 10 over the course of a week.
I have been trying to use AI agents to transact on @zomato, @Uber_India and @letsblinkit. Lots of friction. Until agents can show these marketplaces' catalogs and inventory as generative UI, user experience will be far from ideal.
My bet: horizontal personal agents will win the long tail / low-frequency use cases, like buying insurance, an obscure brand, or a chair etc
But every high-frequency apps like ride-hailing, food, fashion etc will have its own agent on @WhatsApp.
In the mobile era, you had a home screen full of apps. In the AI era, you will have a WhatsApp full of agents.

Your company’s real edge is its tribal knowledge: the decisions, numbers and context nobody outside your walls should see. So where your AI runs matters as much as what it can do.
@LibraAI_HQ gives teams the choice. Run it on Libra’s secure cloud, compliant with SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR and CASA. Or bring your own cloud and deploy Libra inside your own AWS environment, so your data never leaves your infrastructure.
Gokul on how Libra deploys, and why the choice matters.

Context engineering comes down to three questions about every piece of information.
Authority: Who said it? A random email claiming you did a billion dollars in revenue shouldn’t overwrite your actual numbers.
Relevance: Does it matter? Every company has hundreds of abandoned spreadsheets. AI shouldn’t treat them like the source of truth.
Recency: When was it true? “We did $1M last month” and “we did $10M last month” can both be real messages, a year apart. Get the timing wrong and the answer is wrong.
Gokul breaks down the three tenets @LibraAI_HQ uses to decide what an AI should actually believe.

Twelve poker faces at this table.
One AI in the corner that already knows your company, and probably your tells too 👀
Tonight, @Tiny_Fish is hosting a poker night and social for founders building in regulated industries.
Behind @AIMSafety_, @LibraAI_HQ, @MongoDB and Gauge, there's a personal story.
@Skye_Kim_25 and the AIM team just arrived in SF from Korea and invited me into their home for homemade Korean food. I learned their name for the kimchi here is "American Kimchi."
Prithvi and I were coworkers at Smallest.ai but never worked closely until now.
Patrick and I hosted a winter masquerade last December.
Farbod and I are on our third collaboration in three weeks.
Thank you to AIM Intelligence, Libra AI, MongoDB and Gauge for making tonight happen. Excited to see everyone!
