To describe a library as 'just a building' ignores the impact of incredible staff who help children and adults to read throughout their lives. It's so disrespectful & we have been getting messages from all across the UK today appalled at this justification for closing libraries.
Councillor Hazel Cameron (@AberdeenSNP - Hilton/Woodside/Stockethill):
'I have taken some blows on this library situation... A building will not teach your children to read.'

The sheer scale of the collective work to ground today's brutal deportation flight to Rwanda is breathtaking.
As we prepare for the next fight, remember Diane di Prima's words:
"No one way works, it will take all of us shoving at the thing from all sides to bring it down." ✊
