NotNotepad is a plain text editor that doesn't overwhelm. You are initially presented with a Notepad style layout, then you decide what extras you need, rather than throwing everything at you. And no AI either! Available for free at: libraryplayer.co.uk/2026/10/…

Here's a wild idea - what if Kathy returns, and her husband (who we've never seen on-screen) looks like David Glover!! It's not unusual for people to date people who look like their exes, be a great nod to the past, and get the actor to return as a new character! 😀

Are you prepared for your notifications going wild from everyone if the father is you-know-who 😂 (And if he does return, we'll no longer be able to tweet "bring back Steve"!! 😂)

Jan Glover would actually be a great return, and she was behind a similar baby going missing storyline in 90s!

They should have at least let Jimmy have proper scenes with Sadie, even have her be responsible for his demise! #emmerdale

That's my thoughts too - Steve found out about how Frank does later on. If he'd known about it in 1999 he'd probably have used it against Kim at the trial and while he was plotting with Chris Tate!

Glovers would be great & if Roy had a child after he left village they'd be an adult now, so could introduce new character if Roy or Jan actors don't want to return! With their farming background & friendship with Sugdens, could also tie into rebuilding Emmerdale Farm storyline!

Well you know what I'd like the answer to that to be 😀

Well he did initially try to poison Kim when he returned, and was speaking to someone on the phone.

I'm hoping it's Steve! A Jamie return would be great, imagine a Zoe/Chris style dynamic with Jamie and Thea!

Could they be retconning Graham being at the christening? He was meant to be around at time even though not seen on screen.

And rumours of a Dave Glover return... wonder if it's connected somehow. As wild as it sounds (I remember his death, possibly one of the earliest Emmerdale scenes I remembered, my mum watched it although I hadn't got interested in show yet at that time!)

Yes feel free to send me a DM

He did interviews for the Tate Family Album special they did during the pandemic, and he seemed to know about the currect characters/storylines at time (e.g. he joked about what Chris would think about having a son called Noah). So its possible he could return!

Could also open the door to other Glovers returning e.g. Roy or even Jan!

Sounds intriguing! Possibly as a ghost, or even a flashback episode (if they look older, it could easily be explained away as experiencing things from modern day characters point of view). Or even a "what if" style episode!

Wild guess - they address Battlestone's past? As I remember there was columns around this time that we'd learn more about the chracter?
