For #ThrowbackThursday, here's an oldie but goodie, circa 2008! One event we do to celebrate #DrinkingWaterWeek is #HydroMania at Cedar Crest College in Allentown. This year would have been its 20th, but we're looking forward to celebrating that milestone next year! @LCAuthority

Today is World Water Day! The COVID-19 pandemic has shined a light on the vital role water plays in meeting our daily hygiene and sanitation needs. Water delivered to your tap remains safe for all of the ways you use it. Take care everyone & keep washing your hands! #ValueWater

Please, only TP down the toilet! #whatnottoflush
LCA WaterWorks (@LCAuthority) profile pictureLCA WaterWorks@LCAuthority16 Mar 2020
With stores running short on some supplies, we'd like to issue a friendly reminder: Please flush only toilet paper and human waste. Flushing other items, like cleansing wipes, causes blockages that can lead to unnecessary customer expense. More info: lehighcountyauthority.org/do…

It’s getting cold out and that means the @LCAuthority crews will be working extra to keep the water flowing. Our aging infrastructure can be severely impacted by cold weather. Another reason to support reinvestment in the system! #infrastructure #valueofwater

It happened! LCA crews were out on the first main break of the fall season. Crews worked overnight Saturday into early Sunday making repairs in the 700 Block of N. Mohr St. The 2.5" cast iron water main was installed back in 1901!

Whether it is paid through taxes or water rates, our infrastructure must be maintained in order to protect public health and support a vibrant economy. For about $0.50 a day, @LCAuthority water is still one of the best deals in utility service. #ValueWater
