Did you know you can pay for followers on X? Did you know lots of the small companies you may follow do that? Did you know that's why their follower count grows but their business doesn't?

One of the most important things a company can do is have an honest relationship with the public. Not just with their customers. The public. Any outward messaging you have is reaching a potential client. Don't lie to them. If shipping is delayed, be honest about it. If a mistake was made, tell them that. Don't lie and say you sold out of something you didn't sell out of, or that you have orders you dont have. People are smart. They can tell. Small companies worry that people won't buy from them because they're small. But that's exactly why some people will buy from them. They want to champion the small business. Likewise when you get big you'll lose some of those customers that you thought you had to be big in order to win over in the first place. Honesty. Integrity. Consistency. It's not easy. But it's simple.
