The season of thankfulness is right around the corner.
The best time of the year is about to unfold.
~ We probably all have our favorite holidays. For many, Thanksgiving Day is one of them. Unfortunately, retail has corrupted it. You have a choice to say no to that!
One thing may be wrong, but many things can still
be held in grace. Do not let one problem hide
every blessing. ~ Something to remember.
I noticed a comment in one of the FB accounts I get content from for this page. It's typical of just how judgemental people have become.
It's a page that's known for nice artwork along with a good message.
Someone with an authoritarian attitude announced she was unfollowing because "AI" was against her beliefs and ethics. Oh please!
The page creator went on to explain that she not only doesn't use AI but many of her art creations can take as much as 3 hours to put together as she does these images manually. People tend to rush to judgement.
Social media has its good points but it certainly has given voice to a lot of unhappy people as well. You may have noticed that they live in a world where everything has to go the way they want it or they have a meltdown.
On this page, I've had my share of intolerant people as well. I don't engage with them because it's not worth it. If someone unfollows or blocks me because I posted a quote by someone they don't like. Too bad. Just be an adult and scroll past something you don't like instead of putting yourself on some kind of pedestal.
Hello Thursday!
At this time of year we see a lot of black cats along with witches, ghosts, and scarecrows. Superstitions about black cats unfortunately still exists. Ridiculous yes. There's a lot wackiness in this world.
It's a wonder we don't all go mad! Stay well!
Healing is when you stop telling the story that broke you
and start living the story that rebuilt you. ~ True!
Keep on pouring more love into the world.
It needs that! ~ Be generous with the good you put into the world. 🩷💜❤️
Finding a handwritten letter in the mailbox was a hug
in an envelope that an email can never replace. 📬💌
Stay close to those that make your heart happy!
~ A beautiful message and image created by hand BTW.

you can't continue ...
But you go on anyway...- Anita Opper
I still believe in the old-fashioned kind of happiness:
a peaceful home, honest work, simple pleasures,
and people to love.
Take life...
day by day and be grateful for the little things.
Don't get stressed over what you can't control.
Happy National Apple Day! 🍎
As wonderful as apples are, they can be tricky.
If there's extensive dental work like crowns and bridges or teeth not at their best, biting into one, esp a caramel apple, can be problematic.
Sliced apples, applesauce, baked apples & pies will work!
Gratitude doesn't mean pretending everything is fine.
It means noticing what is still good, even when things
feel heavy.
Today is a good day to count up your blessings,
to notice what is beautiful, and to do your best
(Not your perfect)
Love well, laugh hard, and be kind. Cheers! ☕️

Yesterday proved to be a productive day. Pretty amazing in that I've got lots on my plate this week. Today I go in for a liver scan. Up to about a week ago I was dreading this day.
But in the meantime, my latest blood tests showed marked improvement in my liver readings.
So this will be medical appointment #2 for this week. I have a follow up to my liver test on Friday. And on Friday someone will come by to look at a sprinkler leak we have in the front yard. It's always something. Hopefully my lawn won't get messed up too much.
