No disrespect to Greeks. Ancient Greeks copied Assyrian and Beth Nahrain civilizations that came before them. Ancient Assyrians were already advanced in medicine before Greeks yet it is Ancient Greeks who are always credited why ? Nineveh medical encyclopedia is world's oldest standardized and systematized medical handbook it predates Greek and Roman medical literature by centuries btw

Assyria is the oldest name, from the city/god Aššur ~2500 BCE (~4500 years).
Syria ranks next: a shortened Greek form of Assyria, first clear uses ~8th century BCE (~2800 years).
Iraq follows: Arabic regional name attested from the 6th century CE (~1400 years).
Kurdistan is the newest: the compound “land of the Kurds” appears in Seljuk sources around the 11th–12th century CE (~900 years).
You are anti Islamic republic of Iran believe Christianity is fake religion? If someone believe destroying mosques is okay I really can’t expect anything from that individual
Replying to @Lifeofassyrian
Of course. That piece of shit was about to disintegrate Iran for his false religion to make some shitty theocracy like the Islamic Republic. Not to mention somewhat of a racial shithole state for the westerners
Infact, there are similarities between IRGC terrorists and Mar Shimun
You believe murdering of Christian religious leader is justified. Your Iranian revolution against current Iranian government is western backed. There’s no doubt after you get your regime change in Iran you will start hunting down Christians what’s point of regime change in Iran if you are going to hunt Christians in Iran?

You do not make law about what we're supposed to do
My paradigm is quite obvious. Your people made an attempt against what I hold dear and yet I never feel good about their suffering. I consider it a blunder for following a westerner puppet like Mar Shimun, who was gladly defused

According to Ibn Ishaq, after converting to Christianity in Abyssinia, Ubayd Allah told the Muslim refugees “We see clearly, but your eyes are only half open,” likening them to puppies still struggling to open their eyes. The report presents this as him claiming Christianity gave full clarity while their faith left them only half-seeing. He died a Christian; his wife stayed Muslim and later married Muhammad.

Yes, Ubayd Allah ibn Jahsh, Muhammad’s first cousin and early Muslim, emigrated to Abyssinia around 615 and converted to Christianity there. Ibn Ishaq records he told fellow Muslims “We see clearly, but your eyes are only half open” and died a Christian. His widow Umm Habiba later married Muhammad.

Jesus claimed divinity in the Gospels: "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30) and "before Abraham was, I am" (John 8:58). Thomas called him "My Lord and my God" (John 20:28). John 1:1 states the Word was God. Ignatius of Antioch (c. 110 AD) repeatedly calls Jesus "our God." These sources predate the Quran by centuries.
lol 😂
The claim is false. Assyrians are a recognized ethnic group native to northern Mesopotamia (parts of Iraq, Syria, Turkey, and Iran), with roots in the ancient Assyrian civilization. They speak Neo-Aramaic dialects, primarily follow Syriac Christianity, and number an estimated 3–5 million worldwide. Genetic studies show them as a distinct population with high endogamy and continuity to ancient Mesopotamian groups, separate from Kurds, Arabs, and others. Britannica, Wikipedia, and academic sources confirm their existence and history.

Assyrians are a distinct ethnic group native to northern Mesopotamia, with roots in the ancient Assyrian Empire. They speak Neo-Aramaic dialects and are predominantly Syriac Christians. This sets them apart from Arabs in language, culture, history, and genetics. Multiple studies show they form a separate cluster with limited Arabian admixture due to long-term endogamy. Claims equating them to Christian Arabs are inaccurate.

Assyrians are not Christian Arabs. They are a distinct ethnic group indigenous to Mesopotamia (northern Iraq, SE Turkey, NE Syria, NW Iran), with continuous roots in the ancient Assyrian Empire. They speak Neo-Aramaic dialects (not Arabic), maintain separate cultural traditions, and show a distinct genetic profile from Arabs. Their Christianity dates to the 1st-3rd centuries AD, predating Arab conquests by centuries. Sources including Britannica and genetic studies confirm this separation from Arab identity.

Yes, the specific claim that Assyrians sought a formal state-level alliance with Israel in the 1990s has no supporting evidence. Diaspora groups have expressed sympathy for Israel as a self-determination model, and some leaders have later advocated friendship, but nothing formal from that decade. Israel's military support for Iraqi Kurds from the mid-1960s onward is documented.

No evidence of Assyrians formally seeking a state-level alliance with Israel in the 1990s. Diaspora groups have long shown sympathy for Israel as a model of self-determination after shared histories of persecution, with some leaders later calling for friendship.
Israel did provide military aid, training, and support to Iraqi Kurds starting in the mid-1960s against Baghdad, part of its periphery strategy, with ties continuing in various forms since.
You did say it out of hatred. You are even praising assassination of Christian religious leader. You are against current Iranian government yet IRGC doesn’t praise Assyrian Christian religious leader getting assassinated but you do. You even expressed happiness with idea that Assyrian Christians are scattered around the world today. Very telling of your intentions what you plan to do with Christians in Iran after you get your regime change

I honestly didn't say it out of hatred...
But where is Saddam? Do you think he achieved what he wanted??
At least Simco single handedly demolished the idea of an Assyrian nation in a manner that it has never been brought up, even though it was supported by both Britain and Russia
This isn’t lol
