Simulus Laboratories, our wholly owned subsidiary, has recovered up to 99% of platinum and palladium, and 95% rhodium, in testwork on a one-tonne sample of US-sourced automotive catalytic converter material, the first refined PGMs produced from spent autocats using our Hydromet Technology. The result follows 24 months of testwork and 1,179 locked-cycle batch and pilot-scale tests at Simulus's facility in Perth, Australia. It informs engineering design for a planned recycling refinery in the US under Lifezone Metals' December 2023 partnership with Glencore, where Simulus is delivering the pilot testwork, flowsheet and process plant design, and definitive feasibility study.
