I may need some Anger Management classes. I should not have this much menace in me today as I’m in a wonderful mood. Maybe cause I broke a wing???🦇

A terrific short video and message from @HolgerRohde this morning.
On a side note, if I had had a daughter or a much younger sister, she would’ve probably looked and behaved very similar to the badass young woman in the video short (who reminds me very much of a truely gorgeous real-life badass, who also happens to be my Sweetheart @MichelleEngel23❤️💋)
I may have to go completely purple instead of just highlights next time at the salon……me below.👇👇💜💜💜✡️
An extraordinary testimony, @WolfMalca. Heartbreaking, powerful, unforgettable.
October 7 was a massacre, not an act of liberation. Its survivors deserve compassion, remembrance, and justice.
FAUDA is a masterpiece—one of the most gripping, brilliantly acted, and emotionally powerful series in years. Its latest season makes the human cost of October 7 impossible to ignore.
Never forget the victims. Never abandon the survivors. Never apologize for standing with Israel and the Jewish people.
Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱💙
Wer wissen will, was Israel seitdem durchmacht, der muss sich @FaudaOfficial ansehen.

Svetlana, those of us who grew up in Odesa carry its spirit—and our shared roots—with us wherever life leads. The Odesa woman you were ten years ago still shines through in the doctor, photographer, and artist you have become. Why choose one passion when they can all flourish together?
Congratulations on ten years of following your heart. From one Odesa girl to another, I’m truly and wholeheartedly happy for you. 💙💛🇺🇦🌊❤️
Exactly 10 years ago, I held my very first personal photo exhibition in the city of Odessa.
It’s scary to realize that 10 years have passed since 2016, and today is 2026.
I’m watching this video recording. By the way, back then I was still teaching at a medical university, I was 10 years younger… but looking at it, that same Odessa girl is still there, she hasn’t changed.
I understand that many people won’t know what I’m talking about.
And I’m speaking Russian, because in reality language doesn’t affect how a person is perceived. In Switzerland there are 4 official languages, and everyone lives with that just fine.
Why am I saying this? I just showed you a frame from my real life. Because I understand: it’s very hard to believe that a doctor suddenly turns out to be a professional photographer who organized her own exhibitions.
I can say only one thing: be whoever you want to be. If you have a wonderful hobby — don’t give up on it, keep going!
🩷
Autumn reminds us that even the most beautiful things change with time. But if I could choose one thing to remain unchanged through every season, every sunrise, and every lifetime… it would be us. 🍂❤️
Two hearts. One love. A thousand autumn mornings still to come.
Always you, always me, always us. ❤️🔥🍁

🇺🇸❤️ R.E.D. FRIDAY — THE LIGHT WE LEAVE ON ❤️🇺🇸
Remember Everyone Deployed
Somewhere tonight, an American hero is far from home.
Far from familiar faces, warm embraces, and the simple comforts we sometimes take for granted.
But back home, a light is still burning. ❤️🇺🇸
It's RED Friday!! God bless America 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇲 God bless our military men and women! Thank you @rdwhiskey

I've lived in the same apartment building in Tokyo for 11 years.
I know zero names.
That's normal here. We nod in the elevator. We do not speak.
Then Mike moved in on the third floor.
Ohio. Six-foot-four. Laughs like a truck starting up.
Day 1: He knocked on every door with a plate of cookies.
(In Japan, when you move in, you give your neighbors a small towel. Then you leave. Mike gave cookies. Then he stayed and talked.)
Week 1: He knew everyone's name. Including the dog's.
Then there was Mrs. Sato on the first floor.
She's 84. Her husband passed away ten years ago. She lives alone.
In 11 years, I had never heard her voice.
Every Tuesday, Mike carried her groceries up the steps. She didn't speak English. He didn't speak Japanese.
They talked anyway. Mostly about the photo of her husband by the door.
Then one morning, her curtains stayed closed.
Mike noticed.
Nobody else did. I didn't.
He knocked. No answer. He called the building manager.
She had fallen the night before. She'd been on the floor all night.
She's okay now.
But the building isn't the same.
People say good morning. The elevator has conversations.
Last month, we had our first rooftop potluck. Nobody knew what a potluck was. Mike explained it twice.
Mrs. Sato brought 40 rice balls.
And then she laughed at something Mike said.
That was the first time I ever heard her voice.
Mike moved back to Ohio this week.
On his last morning, the whole building came down to the lobby. Kids. Grandparents. The dog.
Mrs. Sato handed him a box.
Inside: one thousand paper cranes.
In Japan, you fold a thousand cranes for someone you want to protect. Her hands shake. She had been folding them since the day he found her.
Then she said the English sentence she had practiced every day for a week.
"Please... come back."
Mike was crying too hard to answer in English.
So he answered in the Japanese he had been secretly practicing.
"Kanarazu kaette kimasu."
In Japanese, that doesn't mean "I'll visit."
It's what you say when you're coming home.

Faina Ranevskaya had that wonderfully wicked gift of making you laugh, think, and occasionally feel personally attacked—all in the same sentence! 😂❤️ Born in Taganrog, she wasn’t an Odesa native, but her sharp wit, biting irony, fearless honesty, and irreverent humor captured so much of what people cherish about Odesa’s legendary sense of humor. A remarkable woman whose words remain as deliciously relevant today as ever. Some personalities are simply timeless! 🖤🌹
My favorite quotes said by the wonderful woman who madly loved my city of Odessa — Faina Ranevskaya.
Read them and… smile 😉.
1️⃣ Everything pleasant in this life is either harmful, or immoral, or leads to obesity.
2️⃣ You need to live in such a way that even the last bastards remember you.
3️⃣ Many complain about the lack of looks, but no one complains about the lack of brains.
4️⃣ Everything will come true, you just have to stop wanting it.
5️⃣ It’s better to be a good person who sometimes swears with swear words than a quiet, silent, and hypocritical creature.
6️⃣ Dear, if you want to lose weight: eat naked and in front of the mirror.
7️⃣ Under the most beautiful peacock’s tail hides a skinny chicken’s ass, so less pathos, gentlemen!
8️⃣ Life is too short to waste it on diets, idiots, and bad moods.
9️⃣ I would send you there, but I see you’re already from there…
