Itβs been an eventful 20 hours or soβ¦labor started at 7:30 last night. We ended up with a doggy c-section & zero puppies. She had 4 in total-2 black, 2 blonde, but with complications they didnβt make it. On our way home to sleep off the anesthesia and mend our β€οΈβπ©Ή
It was a great day today β€οΈπ€ππππ honoring our first responders at the city and county level. I spent most of my time with Rollie, the crisis care K9 πΎ

People: stop blasting contractors for not quoting what you think it should cost just because youβre too damned lazy to it yourself.
Just got quoted $2,400 to paint a 23 by 13 foot living room.
The 4 gallons of paint it takes to do the job costs about $110 at Home Depot, or around $160 if you want Sherwin Williams.
This is not a particularly skilled job.
You went to trade school, not medical school.

We were at a local outdoor Fall Festival today and we always bring one dog. We chose Ruby. Sheβs very calm and not high strung and does well with adults and small children.
While waiting in a line for food, a woman walked beside us and hit Ruby in the face with her knee. Ruby did a low growl at her and showed her teeth. This woman doesnβt apologize for hitting our dog, instead she yelled βcontrol your fvcking dogβ. Wellβ¦you all know meβ¦that didnβt sit well. I said βyou hit her. Maybe control yourself.β My husband said to her quietly βWalk away from my wife now!β
I was so irritated. There were hundreds of people at this festival. Ruby had no issues. None. As we got our food and were leaving this woman appeared right in front of us and said βIf your fvcking dog comes near me, Iβm kicking it.β I said βIf you kick my fvcking dog, you will not be standing.β
There were dozens of people around, and one woman said βIf you kick that dog, Iβm kicking youβ. It was such a bizarre experience.
I did learn that I will throw down with anyone, if you try and hurt my dog, or any animal.
I got my hi lights done last weekend and hated how I looked all week so I went back and got lowlights today. Darken it up for the fall ππ(my poor hair dresser π€¦πΌββοΈ or I should say π€¦π½ββοΈ)
Other than that, Iβve had a lap full of dogs all day and wouldnβt have it any other way πΎπ
We had planned to get some salt water therapy today but it was a bit windy this morning, so Iβm settling for wiener therapy insteadβ¦our son is at the UM/Pitt game so we have the grand dogs over to play ππΎ hope everyone is having a nice Saturday!
