Tiny bit of news. Launched a new publisher with @keshininaidoo today:
Just finishing up my training at Leiths School of Food and Wine and now looking for new opportunities if anyone is hiring? Ideally I would love to combine my chef training and publishing experience to work on cookbooks or something in a similar area. Hit me up!
Oh FFS. Watching Masterchef while thinking about working on my portfolio. Watching a great dish being served, all I could think was that I'd be marked down for the citrus segment preparation. Culinary school is ruining me
Good luck tonight @KeshiniNaidoo!
We’re honoring the outstanding finalists for Publisher and/or Editor of the Year today: Avon Books, Boldwood Books, Bookouture, and Hera! romanticnovelistsassociation…
I’m not in publishing anymore, but still get LinkedIn emails. Transworld looking for a Publishing Director at £42k is utterly laughable.
Oh yeah, I thought the most relaxing thing to do the day before starting @Leithscooking was to run a half marathon. Running to raise money for charities Annnabell benefited from and that have provided great support to me and her family. Please donate a few pennies if you can!

Very intrigued to see what Linda gets up to

Incredibly proud of @oh_henry on the publication day of his book, Cross Everything. A darkly humorous memoir about how cancer tore apart the lives of the people I love most in this world but with added science. Go and buy it 👇👇

Please can everyone stop asking people who have been living on their own for the past year if they had a good break. It was fucking shit and I want a hug from literally anyone.
Pretty chuffed with being shortlisted for TWO @RNAtweets awards. Thanks to the lovely members for nominating us 😍
The shortlists for this year's @RNAtweets industry awards have been announced, and sees @HeraBooks listed for both Publisher of the Year and the Inclusion Award, with @JacarandaBooks, @BoldwoodBooks and @bookouture up for awards! See the full shortlists: bit.ly/3jgpNAw

Wonderful film made by a friend: Only 10 of 54 #Commonwealth countries have laws to recognise, prevent & punish #hatecrimes against #LGBT people. Watch @HumanDignityT’s powerful new short film on the urgent need for laws to address hate-based violence bit.ly/30Q8bWB

A statement from Hera on this #blackoutday herabooks.com/news/our-suppo…
It’s been so long since I’ve been out that standing in the queue for the supermarket feels like I’m waiting to get into the hottest club ever. Pretty sure getting into Berghain was easier than this
I think all the single people in lockdown have reached peak quarantine horniness. Just went for a run in the park and you could cut the thirst with a knife. Or just clitful thinking on my part
Oh Christ, this is the next few months.
