Meet the only high school ballplayer in the @wpbl_official this season - Addisyn Baird.
She helped the LA Queens win the inaugural Championship Series then she went back to school & homework & to play hockey.
“I actually was at a hockey tournament…got that call late at night…played the 1st game & was super excited about coming over here.”
High school superstar @addisynbaird27 shares how she became a part of the @wpbl_official LA Queens & how she balanced school, ⚾️, & 🏒.

One Christmas, Yogi BearA was delivered to us by a Santa Claus’ helper. He went to ⚾️ games, Disney World, & many trips. He loved the beach, slides, surfing, & 🎾. He saw snow! We will miss our Bear.❤️
On the eve of @wpbl_official Opening Day, I took this photo of LA Mgr Eric Young hoisting the Championship trophy for fun. I didn’t share it w/anyone as I’m “baseball superstitious”.
But then as Baseball Gods do, LA won the Championship & EY lifted the trophy for real this time.
