Today we received 600 backpacks for Ready, Set, Achieve thanks to @BereanMN and their partners including ReStored Thrift Store and the Lakeville Area community members who donated during Pan-O-Prog. We are so grateful for this amazing community effort!

If you want proof #SEL is ‘the plate’, ask a parent what their wish for their child is going back to school today. I can promise you it’s all about relationships and adults helping them navigate this transition well. Let us never forget we are receiving someone’s greatest gift.

What an amazing day! 1037 students served, dedicated and hard-working volunteers, supportive donors, and a planning committee that met the challenge of a new venue and format. It’s humbling to be part off this extraordinary day and I’m so thankful for all who made it possible.

Over the 7 years we’ve done Ready, Set, Achieve, I’ve rarely highlighted the contributions @JeremyHolien and our daughters have made to this event. They are the behind-the-scenes heroes that help me shop, store, pack, sort & prep. They were at it again tonight. Thankful!
In just 2 weeks, @LakevilleAreaPS will provide school supplies to students in need. Normally we serve over 550 Lakeville Area students, and this year we expect many more. There are many ways to help. Check out isd194.org/readysetachieve/ for more information & help us pass the word.
What a privilege it was to meet these new friends today and accept their donations. They ran their lemonade stand for a week and did all the supply shopping themselves. I am so thankful, and I know families receiving supplies will be too. Join Marley & Ruby by contributing today!

Excited for my @LakevilleAreaPS colleagues starting their day with @careacter training this morning. @johnnorlin @houstonkraft will bring it no doubt. By the end of today, 30+ in our system will be ready to facilitate the Relational Roadmap in buildings to support fall return.
