Heartbreaking: used Claude to optimize the FTEQCC QuakeC compilation time on a 260KLOC codebase from ~8s to ~2s while maintaining byte-identical outputs. However, they have a strict no-LLM contribution policy, so I'll have to keep these improvements to myself.
