A very Happy Birthday to @nealmorse a creator gentleman and good friend. Have a good day my friend. 🎉🎈🎂😎
Here's a first step towards joining the #Rust and #SAP worlds together – a buildpack for deploying your Rust applications to SAP's Cloud Foundry environment

For those interested in cloud architecture, here’s an interesting article from Amazon Prime about how their original implementation of error detection in video/audio streams became far too expensive and complex to run, and unexpect…lnkd.in/eQcjZxNp lnkd.in/eSjQvEz8
In spite of the fact that #JavaScript is the most ubiquitous and arguably best-known programming language on earth, it still has the power to confuse, misdirect and generally discombobulate the unsuspecting developer.

Great news from Red Badger!
Glad to have part of this implementation 😃 lnkd.in/e7r8Akp7
Are you interested in learning about writing code directly in #webassembly text?
Then you should check out my latest blog on how I implemented the SHA256 hash algorithm in WebAssembly Text.

Interested in coding directly #webassembly text?
Here's a blog about my implementation of the SHA256 hash algorithm: what worked, what didn't
Key take-ways:
* A raw WebAssembly data type would be good
* Unit testing is awkward

So I decided to implement the SHA256 algorithm in #WebAssembly Text.
Thanks to @manceraio for the details
Couldn't quite squeeze it into 1Kb, but I'm pretty pleased with 1259 bytes 😎

20 years ago, Margaret Thatcher gave this penetrating and chillingly accurate analysis of the complete absence of any humanity in Putin’s character.
The West chose not to listen…
“I looked at the pictures of Mr. Putin trying to look for a trace of humanity.” Two decades ago @MrsMThatcher said THE brutal truth about Putin but the West was immensely naive. Very wise words ⬇️

Friend sent this pic today. Nothing against SJ, just boosting dmr.
As much as I like writing in #Rust, this blog makes a lot of sense…

Replying to @mipsytipsy
rename staging to theory, so you can say things work in theory
Do you:
1) write in #Rust?
2) have #WebAssembly as your compilation target?
3) want #JavaScript to consume the Wasm module?
Then you’re going to trip over the “detached ArrayBuffer” problem. I did, so I blogged about its cause and how to avoid it.

Genius Hamilton parody from #ServerlessChats called “I’m gonna reduce your ops”. This should be required viewing for all in DevOps!

It’s time for Wasmtime One-Dot-OHHHH!
Here’s how we made it:
- Super fast 🚀
- Super safe 🔒
- Super production ready 🦾
Plus: Why use a standalone WebAssembly engine in the first place?

I’m currently using both Slack for internal comms and Teams for customer comms
Finding old messages/convos is so much easier in Slack than Teams.
Teams thinks that convos are linked to meetings, so if you can’t remember in which meeting you said something, you’re knackered

Java in the browser was a good idea badly implemented
However, WASM is native to all browsers. It cuts across annoying proprietary restrictions and addresses many of the problems created by trying to get a “foreign monster” (the JVM) to play nicely in a browser
