I can't tell you how deeply joyful it is when my students ask to read ahead in our class book...TOGETHER! It's called The Hope Chest by Karen Schwabach & they love it!

Challenged my class that consistently being at school dramatically improves their learning. So, I told them after winter break that if they had 95% attendance for 40 days, then I'd shave my head bald. They achieved THEIR goal in 43 days!
*More than 20 days were perfect attendance

Elsie you were the very best dog to our family. From day one we always said you were everyone’s favorite Murphews. Not sure how our home will be complete without you but we will hold you in our hearts forever. Wait for us at the rainbow bridge. 💔
