Great news indeed, especially with the anxiety around the longer dose interval. With 1.4mil in Scotland with their first dose this has undoubtedly saved lives.

NEW: data from Scotland shows a single dose offers very strong protection from hospitalisation, including among people aged 80 and over. Vaccinated elderly people 81% less likely to be admitted to hospital than their unvaccinated peers This is very good news(!)

Fantastic initiative by @scotbutchers. @Sandpiper_Trust and @S_piperWildcat have now assisted 3 businesses/ premises with PAD’s in Bucksburn / Stoneywood area. We have provided CPR and AED awareness sessions to staff located close to these PAD’s.
