This week on λ Dev Club Václav published a 3D model from a tablet, fetched it on his laptop over Logos Storage and Logos Messaging, and sent it to his office printer in the city over his own mesh instead of the printer maker's cloud.

EmPoWering is live on Testnet v0.3, it allows for your own machine to solve a hash puzzle for testnet tokens or Blend Core network access. Work-backed Blend messages look the same as traffic from nodes running the network, so each newcomer adds cover traffic for everyone else.

"Not only does this approach enhance privacy for new participants – it also allows applications to remove friction and deliver a better user experience by onboarding users to token-linked apps without requiring them to transfer an initial amount of tokens." 🤯🤯🤯🤯

Every empire that debases its money eventually falters and collapses. Rome did. The question is what people do when that happens. @QCMetellusPius joins us on Rome’s currency collapse, today's dollar parallel, and building an alternative society that doesn’t depend on it. xitter.cf/i/spaces/1wxWjlNyEONJQ…

1/ A private network needs a private way in. Introducing EmPoWering: a way to let people use proof of work to receive their first testnet tokens from the network and access Logos’ privacy layer. Start with zero, contribute computation, and join the network. Here’s how ↓

New benchmarks show Logos Service Discovery consistently finds a rare service, one offered by only 1 in 200 nodes, in under 1.5 seconds. Built on Kademlia, it gives each service its own routing table, so a node can find peers running a specific protocol, like mix or store, without a slow random walk. Service discovery has also been validated end-to-end as a Logos Delivery plugin, running on the test fleet with deployed module artefacts. Delivery is the P2P transport layer for the Logos stack. With service discovery plugged in, nodes running Delivery can find peers offering a given service without a central registry.
