I was praying tonight… and this verse kept resonating in my soul. Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. — Isaiah 26:3 The scripture says “Perfect Peace” … and I kept on wondering, what does perfect peace look like? I mean, aren’t we suppose to have something that worries us, atleast one thing ??? In this Tinubu era??? Are you kidding me? 🫠😤 I meannnn… there’s work, life, relationship, finance, family, health, economy, travels, friendships, … there’s just so much that at some point or the other just makes our peace quite imperfect. And yes that’s true, because God’s definition of perfect peace isn’t the absence of trouble or turmoil , It isn’t the absence of conflict, It isn’t the absence of Health crisis It isn’t the absence of sinusidal finances. Infact Peace (shalom) as used in the scriptures is described as complete, and so using Perfect again might look like a tautology… but it’s God’s way of emphasis. The Perfect Peace that God guarantees is that even in the midst of these circumstances… as long as the totality of your trust is stayed on HIM, he would take care of you, he would take responsibility of your Life. Your peace will be on the basis of KNOWING there is nothing impossible for him to do. He say “Thou will KEEP him in Perfect Peace” It means the responsibility of my peace now goes to God as long as I put my trust in him. Let me give an example…. A baby crawls up to the top of the wardrobe either by going through the window bulgary. And now the Dad says “Ivy jump! I’m going to catch you”… now Ivy is going to be scared, there is a circumstance, there is a situation that’ll take Ivy’s peace. But Ivy jumps TRUSTING the the Dad will catch her… but she must have found peace just at the point that she jumped… Ivy’s peace at that time isn’t that there wasn’t a great height to jump from… IT WAS IN TRUSTING NO MATTER HOW AND WHEN SHE JUMPS, HER DAD WILL CATCH HER. In essence, Perfect Peace is a profound state of tranquility and security that comes from a relationship with God, characterized by trust, a steadfast mind, and a reliance on His promises. Someone will ask, How do I trust God? Simple, do exactly what the scriptures commands!

I have an advantage in God! 🚀
