This is not good news for #LdnOnt. Statistically the incidents of crime & community violence go up in areas near slaughterhouses. The workers suffer. The animals suffer. We already kill over 100,000 animals in our city every day. We do not need more unnecessary violence.

This was at a truck stop along the 401. These cows are "spent" #dairy cows being exported to the US. Millions of animals die in transport, in #Canada, every year. The video says it all.

While bearing witness at the Cargill slaughterhouse in Guelph with Earthling Ed. A furious truckers gets out to yell at us & attempts to take the camera as we live stream. Ed tells the driver we just want two minutes to say goodbye to the animals - this isn’t about him or us.

Dairy cows arrive at the slaughterhouse with milk still dripping from their udders. These mothers are kept in a cycle of pregnancy for 4 years before they are considered “spent” cows; producing too little milk for humans to profit and therefore sent to be killed. #govegan
