Holy smokes @Uber. Been in London for past several days. During one of my rides - a driver complained about how little he made for a trip between Hackney and Heathrow. Uber charged me 59 pounds of which the driver only sees 32. Insane! Fair?! I think not.

It has only taken 8 years to get this written judgment. Sadly, most are denied a final judgment and an order to be repaid in full what was stolen from them (and still is).

Honestly, as lead claimant in the Uber case, I am sickened by this. @RachelReevesMP knows full well that Uber continues to litigate this case, refuses to abide by the SC, refuses to pay working time and has CUT pay through algorithmic trickery such as upfront and dynamic pricing.
Great to meet with @UberUK and @GMB_union and hear how their breakthrough recognition agreement has led to stronger rights and higher pay.
A good example of business and unions working together to make jobs better for working people.

In 2017, the worst mistake made was to join the IWGB trade union. At IWGB it’s all about identifying a group of vulnerable workers who are organising and making all the sacrifices so eventually they (mainly white academics at IWGB) can hijack the movement undermining the workers.
