Today, I’m issuing an executive directive to strengthen the Commonwealth’s cybersecurity and address the threats posed by the rapid development of artificial intelligence.
This moment demands leadership, coordination, and a thoughtful path forward to address these serious threats — particularly as we have seen no leadership from this President and his allies in Congress.
This is just the beginning — I’ll continue to leverage my authority as the Governor of Virginia to address potential threats, strengthen our Commonwealth’s security, and prioritize the safety of Virginians.

The president’s signature policies have been to cut healthcare and start a new war abroad that raises prices — while giving major tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans.

Right now, in Virginia we have some foundational issues with our energy system that we have to address: the grid is overworked, we need more energy to meet the demand that we have, and costs are too high for every single one of us.

You want to understand the midterms in one graph? Here it is in a new @Gallup poll.
In a stunning turnaround, a majority (51%) of Americans now say that Democrats are the political party to do a better job of keeping the country prosperous.
Right before the 2024 elections the Republicans led this measure by a 50% to 44% margin. That is an 20 point turnaround.
In our @WSJ poll, 60% say that Trump's economic policies have made the economy worse and give the economy a 65% negative job rating.
Trump & GOP squandered their opportunity to make the economy better and bring prices down.

“Get involved and help Democrats win one of the most consequential elections in our country’s history. Because the most powerful office in this country has always been ‘citizen.’”

When I got to Chicago in the summer of 1985, Mike Ditka and the Chicago Bears were king. Coach Ditka set the tone for a team that was punishing, dominant, and fun — and the city loved him for it. I'm thinking of the Ditka family and Bears fans everywhere on the passing of a legend.

Pope Leo XIV: Someone who says 'I'm against abortion' but says 'I'm in favor of the death penalty' is not really pro-life. Someone who says that 'I'm against abortion but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants who are in the United States,' I don't know if that's pro-life.
