Former #Patriots LB Brandon Spikes recalls the wild story of when he knocked out Bills RB Fred Jackson 😳
“I’ll tell you another true story… New England vs. [Ryan] Fitzpatrick, Buffalo Bills. Fred Jackson was the running back… My job was to stop the running back. I done ran Marshawn Lynch up out of Buffalo… Anyway, Fred Jackson was having a great year. I think they had a backup running back, [Tashard] Choice… He was like on their sideline… I done hit Fitzpatrick. Knocked his helmet off. Personal foul, you already know. I smoked his ass, helmet came off. Dropped 250 [pounds] on his ass…
They said ‘F**k you, Spikes! You dirty as hell!’ I said, ‘Just for that, I’m gonna put ya man to sleep! I’m gonna knock his ass out if you keep talking!’ [Then a] TV timeout, I’m over there, ‘Watch mothaf***a I’m gonna kill his ass! I’m gonna put him to sleep! Fred, this his fault! This ya boy fault! His jersey clean, he ain’t played all day talking to me like that!’
This s**t ain’t for play, I take this s**t serious. My people watching this s**t. We get back out there, come out of the huddle. They do some little fancy play. I done caught that down on him… Night night! Went on and knocked him out! Ball flew around, I ain’t try to get the ball. I looked at Choice, ‘Look at ya mans! Come get him! He done! Come get his ass!’ I did like 7 grown men like that.”

Rob Gronkowski favors #Patriots QB Drake Maye over Bears QB Caleb Williams:
“This is a tough decision… But I’m gonna go with Drake Maye… I just like the touch on his ball… As a player, he would be the ideal quarterback.”

#Patriots HC Mike Vrabel announced that the following players are OUT for their TNF matchup against the Bears:
🔹LG Alijah Vera-Tucker
🔹RG Ben Brown

🔹CB Karon Prunty
🔹CB Channing Canada
#Patriots RB Cory Kiner on his experience since arriving in New England:
“I’ve been acclimating well. This team atmosphere is something special. This isn’t everywhere. It’s special. Guys come to work every day. No matter where you are on the depth chart, guys come to work. That’s what I respect… As I mentioned last week, Coach Vrabel gets into practice and does the drills with us. So, that just makes me go even harder just seeing him, man. It just means a lot.”

The #Patriots will be rocking their all white uniforms for their Thursday Night Football matchup against the bears 🥶
#Patriots QB Drake Maye on Bears QB Caleb Williams:
“Him in the pocket, I don’t know if I could do some of the things he could do. He’s special in the way he can move and kinda escape and evade pressure. [Him] throwing on the run is pretty cool to watch. I don’t know if I’m that shifty in the pocket. He can do some cool things. He’s got crazy arm talent and it’s fun to watch. I don’t know if I’m that flexible to try some of those things, but I think the way he plays the game is cool. I know he’s doing a great job and I know i’m Chicago he’s got the city on the watch.”

#Patriots WR A.J. Brown on his performance against the Jets:
“I just didn’t make the plays. I’m not really going backwards because it’s over with now. I watched the film, put it to bed, and I’m looking forward.”
#Patriots WR A.J. Brown on Eagles QB Jalen Hurts being diagnosed with blood clots:
"It's a tough situation. Got a lot of love and respect for him. Praying for him. Didn't know how serious it was. I think all of us kind of found that out. He's a tough guy and can handle anything. I don't mean that lightly. I know that's serious, but he can handle it. I pray God continues to keep his hand on him. So, it's a lot of love and respect from this way. Speedy recovery, with love.”
