recency bias in my thoughts above. SSG, I think, deserves a spot after they hosted HCS events, but imo it's pretty disappointing they have just stepped away since.
FaZe, on the other hand, had been going through major changes in Halo Infinite while doing the same. The FaZe esports 2v2 in 2026 was great, but a different company? It's hard to tell
I'm curious how much financial support came from HS/HCS to make these events happen
Interestingly enough, we haven't seen participation in 2027 from Envy & SSG...
Nonetheless, a stacked tournament!
We now know the teams/players with invites to the $150,000 #HaloFest!

We are opening a @RegimentGG Gaming Arena in Fort Worth, Texas!
If any pro teams need a place to boot camp their players at, hit me up!
“This year, some minor tournaments have surfaced, the biggest being DreamHack Atlanta in May”
In many ways I feel I have come up short, Shopify Rebellion & competitors deserve better. Perhaps I should be fighting for better exposure on official channels like Halo Waypoint.
