Today was day 2 of the Zammit FOS STEAM Change Challenge. Students packed Clarkson’s gym this morning to celebrate a few months of exploring, learning and actioning all different types of solutions to solve many of the UN Sustainability Goals.

Today was day 1 of the Zammit FOS STEAM Change Challenge hosted by Clarkson SS. Over 240 students showcasing all their hard work solving real world sustainability issues. Students used podcasting, Microbits, Dash/LEGO Robotics, etc… to bring their ideas to life. @peel21st

Media Literacy at its finest. Students at Erin Mills MS were creating advertisements for their UN Sustainability Goal apps! Button making is an easy entry point for all and the students had a blast being creative in a new way! @peel21st @PeelEML

Mentorship day @whiteoakspeel. It is such an experience for both the grade 4/5’ and grade 9’s from Lornepark SS. The discussions were so illuminating. The leadership skills displayed on both sides was the highlight of the day. @peel21st @PeelEML

Even secondary students like to learn with LEGO. These students will be mentoring the Hillside PS grade 3’s at the Zammit FOS STEAM Change Challenge.

The grade 4’s are exploring different habitats using VR goggles. This starts the exploration that will lead to their STEAM Change projects. These projects will be celebrated on May 26th at Clarkson SS at the Zammit FOS STEAM Change Challenge. @peel21st @PeelEML @GarthwoodParkPS

Hillside LEIP is all about learning about plants through coding. The Dash robot is gathering different resources needed for each plant to survive. Students use their voices to explain why each resource is important. @peel21st @PeelEML @hillsideTwolves
