I stayed in a tourist rental on rue montpensier once, for 3 weeks. Best part was napping w my window open to let in the cafe sounds, from below. The carousing at night, singing, drunken quarrels, & in the morning, fine ladies speaking in cultured, dulcet tone. I still dream of it
