I've spent years learning and practising trading and I've also been investing time lately in learning cybersecurity.
Recently, I noticed something interesting about this two skills..
Although these two fields are quite different, they have more in common than I initially thought🧏
Both require;
🔹 Critical thinking
🔹 Risk management
🔹 Patience and discipline
🔹 Continuous learning
🔹 The ability to identify problems and respond appropriately
Different skills, different environments, but surprisingly similar principles.
Let me share one interesting connection I've noticed😂

HOW TO ACHIEVE YOUR TRADING GOALS FASTER
Many traders want to become profitable quickly
To move faster, focus on these 4 things:
1. PLAN
Don’t just say “I want to get better at trading.” That’s too vague.
Break the goal down.
Example If you want to understand liquidity:
→ Study what liquidity means
→ Read/watch different explanations
→ Study charts
→ Journal what you got right and wrong
→ Backtest the concept
Do the same for entries, market structure, FVGs, risk management, psychology, etc.
Don’t learn everything at once. Pick one thing, understand it, practice it, then move to the next.
A clear plan removes wasted time.
2. SACRIFICE
You can’t expect uncommon results while giving trading the same effort as everything else.
Something has to go: less partying, scrolling, gaming and random content.
More chart time, studying, journaling and backtesting.
A good mentor can save months or years of mistakes too
Sacrifice doesn’t mean destroying yourself. Don’t sacrifice health or sleep.
3. REWARDS
Know why you want to become profitable. What does it mean to you?
Maybe a better car, your own house, financial freedom, travel, supporting family, or more control over your time.
Write it down, find related pictures, live in the reality, Knowing what you’re working toward makes the boring parts easier.
You’re building toward something, not just studying charts randomly.
4. TIMEFRAME
Set a deadline to keep yourself accountable.
Have a target and plan. Track progress. Adjust as needed. Keep going.
Know what to learn, what to sacrifice, and what you’re working toward.
Set a timeframe. Put in the work.
That’s how you move faster.
I think it’s time we start ignoring these traders that post indecent photos of themselves
Shoving their cleavages down our throats
Maybe if we see their posts and scroll. Maybe if some of our thirsty guys and delusional gals decide to be disciplined and scroll past. Just maybe, they wouldn’t have the mind to post another one
It is the attention a lot of us give these people that builds their confidence
By the time their posts end up with 2 likes. They’d realize their wasting breast photos for nothing

Lagos NightLife is so fucked up these days, filled with unnecessary show-off and classism. 😤🤦🏽♂️
I remember enjoying nightlife in Lagos back in 2009. Places like Options, Peccas, etc. You could walk into these places with very little money, sometimes barely enough to buy drinks hence you are above 18 years, and still have the best night of your life.
It was never really about how much you could spend or the current culture of making a statement for social relevance. It was about the experience. Let’s not forget that fact that you might not even make a good connection with a beautiful girl in the club if it’s not for the service of hookup
Somewhere along the line, the essence of nightlife began to change.
About few months ago, I visited Code Bar in Benin Republic, and that experience reminded me of what nightlife should actually feel like.
There was no unnecessary classism. Nobody cared where you sat or whether you could afford a bottle of Azul or just wanted to enjoy a small bottle of beer. Everyone was there for the same reason: to have a fcuking good time.
The energy was infectious. Partying and Connecting with people (male and female) from different foreign and African countries was the highlight of the night. The experience was electrifying, organic and genuinely beautiful.
And it got me thinking…
What’s the point of life if we cannot create shared experiences and beautiful memories without constantly having to prove our financial worth?
Not every experience should be a competition. Sometimes, people just want to live, connect, dance, laugh and have a fucking good time.
I think Lagos nightlife has lost a bit of that magic.
@PrincessElendu I bet you can attest to your experience there, hope you had mad fun.
This video was a little bit of my funky experience at Code Bar in Benin Republic 👇
July 2026 – August 2026 really taught me the importance of patience especially in trading.
I learned the hard way that lack of patience can mess up your entire process😟 and one thing that period taught me is that not every opportunity deserves your attention nor action.
In trading, patience means waiting for your setup instead of forcing an entry simply because you want to make money. It means respecting your trading plan even when the market isn't offering you anything !!
In cybersecurity, patience means investigating a problem properly instead of jumping to conclusions without understanding the available evidence. you don't just assume;
🔹️you investigate
🔹️ Analyse and
🔹️verify
And i noticed something as well both fields have something in common:
🔹️Rushing decisions can lead to costly mistakes.
🔹️Understanding the process matters more than chasing quick results.
🔹️Sometimes doing nothing is actually the smartest decision.
🔹️ You must learn to separate genuine opportunities from distractions..
Lack of patience has cost me funded accounts and money in trading that I had no option but to sit down, reflect and work on fixing the underlying issues.
And that's one lesson I'm taking forward:
Wait ▫️Observe ▫️Understand▫️Then act.
Patience isn't weakness, neither is it inactivity rather it's knowing when to; 🔹️act
🔹️when not to act and
🔹️having the discipline to respect the difference!!!!
It's also part of mastering your craft ✨🫴
