For months Republicans claimed that Biden had received the Presidential debate questions in advance. As it turns out, Rupert Murdoch's Fox News actually did give debate strategy to a candidate in advance, but that candidate wasn't Joe Biden. It was Donald Trump.

Now that I got your attention, this accident actually happened in 2017 under President Trump. Trump never visited the crash site, and neither did his Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao. Instead Trump used the crash to try and tout his failed infrastructure plan, tweeting, “shows more than ever why our soon to be submitted infrastructure plan must be approved quickly.” He then went on to deregulate multiple safety precautions on trains.
No FEMA aid was given to anyone after this accident either and it was otherwise ignored by the administration.

The problem I have with Republican outrage over East Palestine, Ohio, is their idea that saving freedom in Ukraine and to prevent World War III is somehow less important.
Yes, it's terrible what happened, but consider this:
- 0 people have lost their lives.
- 0 people have lost their property.
- The chemicals that spilled in the water supply are environmentally degradable, meaning the environment can clean it itself.
- America averages more than 1 incident of a toxic spills into groundwater, rivers, or lakes used for drinking water every single day. Should the President fly to each of these sites every day?
- 6% of Ohio drinking water already contains PFAs (known as 'forever chemicals'), which have been shown to cause cancer and other ailments. These chemicals do not break down in the environment. Yet no one is talking about this.
Fox News and social media are setting the narratives here.
