Right, all joking and banter about Friday aside, this is absolutely unbelievable.
Marching to the Bogside with Paras and causing trouble. It's a small minority of Bohs who associate with these losers, but I'd love to hear from any one of them as to why they can't see how (1/2)

That the Irish government is quite literally sneaking through legislative changes without proper public scrutiny and debate to remove the triple lock and end Ireland’s historic neutrality should tell you they have absolutely no public mandate to do so.

It didnt take too long for last night's parade to show its true face. Minutes after Lockhart and senior members of Portadown walked by playing the victims, the sectarian, anti Catholic hate tune "No Pope" was given a blast.
The O.O. is a hate organisation, nothing more.

I take issue if you're saying that raising this subject is about demoralising people, Claire. This is a massive issue for Derry. This is the difference between Derry potentially having job opportunities and not. About not being the most deprived area on these islands.
I did notice in the past that Belfast MLAs don't like to address this. Do you see it as a parochial issue for Derry? Or is it a big issue for the North?
The QUB chief wrote about too much focus on Magee when barely any investment has gone into Magee, as it stands.
Belfast unis spent (with Stormont assistance) upwards of £900m capital from 2013-2023. Magee got about £25m.
That is 95% of HE spend in Belfast Vs about 2.6% in Derry.
Every party leader. Every person should be able to call that out for what it is. That has compounded the shocking Lockwood decision of the 1960s. A decision Hume and thousands of others railed against. It has not been rectified 60 years later.
There should be no dancing around it.
With Belfast on 84% of the student population, do you support a rebalancing of those numbers?

ALL of the purveyors of the fake "Russia Russia Russia" narrative MUST resign, not just Helen McEntee @HMcEntee.
They have repeatedly foisted lies upon the people of Ireland in an attempt to justify all the harm they have done and continue to do. They have robbed the Irish people of billions of taxpayers' money that should have been applied for the benefit of Irish citizens, as they got down on their knees to globalists screeching "big bad Putin".
Some of these lies are well exposed in this statement from the Russian Embassy. 👇 #RussiaRussiaRussia
⚡️ Statement by the Embassy of Russia in Ireland (October 23, 2026)
The much-publicised discussion in Ireland of the issues with the “Triple Lock” legislation and Irish neutrality includes continuing references to Russia made by the leaders of the Irish government, which contain unfounded allegations, as well as misrepresentation of the way the UN Peacekeeping mechanism works.
In the course of the debate in the Dáil on October 21, Helen McEntee, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Defence, strongly objected to the current “Triple Lock” legislation on the grounds that it presumably allows Russia, as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, “to have a say over which peacekeeping missions we can send our troops to”, or even to veto Irish participation in such missions, and that ostensibly does not sit well with the Minister who believes that Russia is “attacking European member-states, including Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland”.
We strongly believe that any decisions on the matters of neutrality or any other policy matters are sovereign issues to be discussed and decided solely by the Irish government and the Irish people. At the same time, it is obvious that such decisions – whatever they are – should not be made under false assumptions, which is exactly the case with the Minister’s statements. Contrary to her assertions, the UN Security Council does not vote on what countries take part in a peacekeeping mission – its composition is agreed in the course of multilateral consultations conducted by the UN Secretariat and the interested UN member-countries. Also, there is no known record of Russia being against Ireland’s participation in any UN peacekeeping mission. Consequently, the allegations by Minister McEntee are reprehensible and misleading, grossly distorting the substance and the meaning of procedures provided by the UN Charter.
❗️In the same manner, the Minister’s speculations over Russia’s “attacks” on the EU countries are totally baseless, dangerously provocative and unacceptable. This kind of rhetoric is unthinkable for any responsible member of a government.
It is regrettable that the Irish government has chosen to deliberately question the workings of the UN – despite its much-advertised commitment to the central role of the UN in the international order – with the aim to promote domestic policy agenda. It is also incumbent upon Irish leadership to realise that exercises in Russophobia cannot make up for a serious failure in its approach to relations with Russia and issues of peace and stability in Europe.
