I sometimes wonder what people think of my stubborn optimism. Like does it seem foolish, naive or strong and brave.
Cuz like, Iβm a through and through optimist, not because I donβt know how bad the world can be and is.
(lol I have a masters degree in political science, studied a ton of history for that and examined the current situation on the world deeply) and I have complex ptsd with depressive symptoms and a generalized anxiety disorder.
I understand how horrible the world is.
Butβ¦
I choose hope, I look on the brighter side of things, I try and create hope where there is none, not because itβs easy, not because I have an unrealistic view of the world.
I choose hope because itβs the right thing to do. I choose hope because itβs hard. And I have to keep choosing hope every day, in every moment. Iβm not perfect and I fall into despair and depression all the time. But, I still choose hope every time I can.
Hope is worthwhile because itβs not easy. If everything was perfect, hope would be meaningless. The only and best time to choose hope is when that feel like the crazy thing to do.
So I choose hope, every day.
Hope that the lives of those I love can be better. Hope that my life can be better, hope that I can reach my dreams and shine as brightly as I want. Hope that I can make more and more people smile each day.
Hope that I can find love.
Hope that I can find joy.
Hope that I can find more reason to hope.
So choose hope, not cuz itβs easy, or even seems possible or reasonable, choose hope cuz thatβs the hardest thing to do. And the most worthwhile thing to do.
And I will keep hoping for you. I will Keep hoping for me to reach my goals, become a massive vtuber, voice actor and singer. Hope that I will find my true partner in life. And so much more β€οΈπ
