This weekends rooting interest
#3 Utah over #9 BYU (7-1)
#18 Mizzou over #7 Texas (6-2)
#5 Alabama over #14 LSU (6-2)
#23 Oregon over #12 Ohio State (6-2)
#6 Kentucky over #13 Tennessee (6-2)
#1 Miami over #11 Notre Dame (7-1)
#2 Georgia over #10 Ole Miss (6-2)
Need as many 2 loss teams ahead of Tech in the rankings to lose as possible. And BYU having a 2nd conference loss so Tech can be in control of its own path to Arlington.
All in all. A lot of great match ups this weekend.
They finally done with giving BYU all the free passes in the world?
NEW: The Big 12 has called an executive meeting this week with anyone involved in officiating, @wilnerhotline reports.
The conference is evaluating its entire operation.

NEW: Brian Kelly confirms interest in Florida State's head coaching job:
"I’ve got a great history with Florida State, great games. I know what that’s like, the history and tradition of Florida State, playing in that state, and the fan base. So anytime you have an incredibly brand driven, great tradition and history, there’s a want and desire to be part of somebody that has had that success and, certainly, leading that program, from anyone’s perspective, would be an honor and privilege."

-July 2021: UT and OU announce they are leaving
-September 2021: UCF, BYU, Cincy, UH announced joining
-April 2022: Bowlsby announced retirement
-June 2022: Yormark announced as Commissioner
-October 2022: Big 12 secures last tv deal by jumping the line in front of the Pac-12. This deal gave a full payout for 4 future P4 members.
-February 2023: The Big 12 and OU/UT come to an agreement that the 2023 would be the final year as opposed to waiting until July 2025.
-July/August 2023: Utah, Arizona, Arizona State, and Colorado announce they are joining the Big 12
-July 2024: The Big 12 is now 16 schools
I’m no fan of Yormark. And yes, he did in fact leave the Big 12 in a better place than he found it. He played a role in killing the Pac-12 (along with poor leadership of the Pac-12). Securing a TV deal early and adding 4 power 4 schools.
If anything UT did more harm to the Big 12 while as a member before they announced leaving. They killed what could have been the Pac-16 with LHN. They drove away 4 members with Nebraska, Colorado, A&M and Missouri. They refused to expand with Louisville, BYU, UH, etc in 2015/2016 after holding 6 months of interviews. They demanded more money and unequal revenue share.
The Big 12 would be worth $70 - $80 million a school a year right now if it was the original 12 members that had history, regionality, and good old fashioned hate involved.
We’re good in our set up over here. Go worry about the SEC and what yall have over there.

National CFB analyst/writer presents “list of teams with 2+ ranked wins” and happens to leave off both Big12 teams with two: Texas Tech & BYU. 🤷♂️🤦♂️
This quoted post is unavailable.
This list is absolute bullshit. Tech spent $31 million. Not $41 million
Every AP Top 25 team, next to what its roster is worth.
Utah: No. 3 in America, 38th in value.
BYU: No. 7, 39th in value.
Texas: No. 10, most valuable roster in the sport.
Who's the most undervalued? Values via @thenilstandard
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out @brettyormark this logo is absolutely awful.

Two THREE LOSS SEC teams are ranked.
THIS is what I mean when I say it’s all fake. Now, magically, two more teams will pick up “ranked wins” to inflate SOS.
Complete joke.
This is like the 11th post I’ve seen about this. Idk how everyone thinks this is breaking news. It’s pretty damn obvious after Saturday.
Add Arkansas, Texas Tech, TCU, UH, Rice, UT, SMU, Baylor, and A&M.
Then you have the Big Southwest. Idk… could be something to it.
