Painter/TV host Bob Ross was #BornOnThisDay Oct. 29, 1942. The creator & host of The Joy of Painting, an instructional PBS TV show (1983 - '94). During each segment, Ross would instruct & paint an oil painting. A smoker, he passed in 1995 (age 52) lymphoma #RIP #GoneTooSoon #BOTD

Pete was a member of the Super Bowl II Raiders when they played the Packers. When they won SB XI, the four remaining Raiders from that earlier team were him, Willie Brown, Gene Upshaw, and Fred Biletnikoff. Only Fred remains on this side of the veil. Thx for posting, Kevin.
