📢 BOMB DEFUSE UPDATE
The bomb defuse update has been reverted to its original Day 1 functionality. Players are no longer required to crouch or go prone to defuse the bomb.
You can once again defuse the bomb from any position, with no restrictions on whether you are standing, crouching, or prone.
The only restriction is that players are still NOT allowed to defuse through walls or other objects. The bomb itself does not count as an object for this rule.

📢 Heads up: the latest update has removed bomb stretching entirely. However, you are now unable to pick up the bomb while standing. You’ll need to crouch or go prone directly on top of the bomb briefcase in order to defuse.
