Ever wondered how you can be more like George Washington?
The qualities that shaped George Washington’s leadership continue to challenge us to consider how we lead, serve, and contribute today. Today, we're discussing his study of Francis Hawkins' The Rules of Civility and Decent Behaviour in Company and Conversation.
When he was about 14 years old, as part of his schooling, Washington wrote down a copy of the 110 Rules of Civility in his school book. These lessons, some serious, some humorous, stayed with him throughout his life and greatly form the leader that he would become.
The first rule is as follows: "Every Action done in Company, ought to be with Some Sign of Respect, to those that are Present."

On Oct. 25, 1415, the longbow changed warfare and helped secure victory at the Battle of Agincourt.
611 years later, @SecWar’s Project Agincourt is fusing operators with innovators to rapidly adapt, field, and scale unmanned capabilities across the joint force—transforming how we fight and win.
