When we reduce black prospects’ stories of adversity to traits like 40 times, we reduce them as human beings.
Some thoughts on the comments from a Bears scout on Jaquan Brisker this weekend, and a problem that continues to persist in draft commentary:
Jayhawks wrap up the season with an 84-90 loss to Niagara County. Captain JT Martinson led the Jayhawks with 23 points. Jeff Sultzer finished with 13 points, Dj Lanier with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Congrats to these young men on a hard fought, adversity filled season.
Tough loss to Davidson-Davie. Congrats to their players and coaches for a hard fought game. We’re back to the drawing board for Thursday’s game
