It has activity against Demodex mites and also helps reduce inflammation. And that rough, almost sandpaper-like texture some people experience? It can occur with Demodex-related skin inflammation, although it isn't proof that mites are responsible.

Almost everyone has them, and usually they don't cause any trouble. But higher numbers of these mites have been associated with certain types of rosacea and skin inflammation. That's one reason ivermectin cream is used in rosacea treatment.
