Chelsea have the players. Chelsea have the investment. So why are we still talking about patience? 🤔
Is Alonso building something, or are his tactics and substitutions costing Chelsea?

Manager, players or fatigue, where does the blame lie?

Is this conference even needed?
You guys should go and strategise on how to win ROMA...

Dear @ManUtd,
First of all, thank you for giving me my own share of your cake during the weekend, you're a brother indeed.
I know many clubs and football fans have written you off because of your recent form, but as your English brother and the face of the Premier League, I want to encourage you to hold your head high, don't let their words discourage you.
I've been there before and I know how it feels. You've been a champion before and you can be a champion again.
As you meet AS Roma tomorrow, make sure you end your winless drought.
Regards,

🚨SERIE A TITLE RACE JUST GOT A MASSIVE TWIST!
Inter have been beaten by AC Milan, Juventus have taken down Napoli, and Lazio have capitalised brilliantly to move three points clear at the top.

City keep telling everyone to stay calm and trust the process. But 115 charges are not something you simply brush aside. If the evidence is as strong as they claim, let it speak for itself. Nobody is above the rules, and football deserves answers.

Sometimes I genuinely feel like Manchester United’s owners enjoy making life difficult for the fans every season.
Make it make sense. The board refused to spend big on quality players, refused to bring in cheaper good options and even ignored opportunities to sign players on loan.
Look at how Andoni Iraola transformed Ronald Araújo. Meanwhile, we went to Stamford Bridge with no proper striker, a makeshift left-back and a makeshift right-back.
This is what years of poor planning and bad decisions have done to this football club. Absolutely embarrassing. 🤦🏾♂️

Everyone now has something to say now that we have lost two games in a row.🤡
When we were 7/7 in the Premier League, flying in all competitions, Maresca was the best thing after sliced bread.😏
“Oh, Maresca was surely the best candidate to replace Pep”
“There’s none like Maresca. His tactics to play high, touchline wingers is amazing.”
But now, he’s tactically inept to you all😏
Am I defending his recent decisions, substitutions and media management? NO!
The decision to allow Bouaddi jump up to mark Chema Andres, their deepest midfielder, leaving our midfield exposed was ridiculous.🤦🏽♂️ His recent subs has been shoddy, and his press conferences sometimes shit.
But does he warrant this over criticism from City fans? NO!!!
Infact, if you are a City fan, and you didn’t expect spells like this this season, you are shortsighted. Because IT WAS ALWAYS GOING TO HAPPEN.
Do you think squad building is easy? Do you think it takes just four months to build togetherness, harmony and cause a tactical shift at a new club with new players?
Do you think it’s all about spending money?
If it was that easy, Messi, Neymar, Mbappe would have won the treble in their first season. Liverpool would have been dominating the PL with Isak, Wirtz and Barcola.
Squad building takes TIME. And building harmony, rhythm, patterns amongst players takes even more, not just 15 games.
As a City fan, stop been naive. Stop this over criticism of Maresca and lashing out on players anyhow.
Everyone is entitled to criticize Maresca (he has his flaws), but when you hear statements like “Maresca is on fraud watch” and other funny ones, you beg to wonder if these are actually City fans.
I expected a period like this will come, because it’s completely normal. You are the one with crazy expectations and expecting Maresca to be like Pep immediately.
Even Pep got it wrong in his first season at City. Enrique was almost fired at Barca in January 2015 because results were going sideways (He went on to win the treble that season).
Dear City fans: stay the course, fight the good fight of faith and defend the club. Call out the manager and players when need be, but stop been too over-reactive.
Give Maresca time. He’d make it work. CTID✊🏽💪🏾🩵

It’s ridiculous people are comparing Morgan Rogers’ path at Villa to Scott’s.
Rogers had consistent progressive seasons, was treated as untouchable, and only allowed to leave after he won the Europa silverware
Scott had two poor seasons then one breakout year. Outside of " ball-progressing "stats he was ordinary, and that’s the only thing that got used to market him.
The team has been fine without him. They can’t force him back in either the thigh injury means they have to manage him carefully, which limits what he can actually do.
This isn’t about the contract. They’re trying to cash in on last season’s hype before his stock drops. One good season after several failures and suddenly he’s Chelsea standard ? 🤦🏽♂️

Look at the difference in the numbers.
Emiliano Martínez
(6 league games):
• 36 shots faced (6 shots per game)
• 11 goals conceded
• 25 saves
Mike Penders
(3 league games):
• 11 shots faced (3.7 shots per game)
• 2 goals conceded
• 7 saves
This tells an interesting story about how much Chelsea have improved defensively over the last few games.
We're allowing fewer shots, controlling games better and giving our goalkeeper less work to do.
Credit to Penders, but credit must also go to the entire defensive unit and the improvement in our overall game management.
Defending starts with the whole team, not just the goalkeeper
Two defeats and some City fans have called an emergency tribunal. ⚖️
Weeks ago, Maresca was getting flowers. Now he’s in the dock.
The defence? New manager, new players, second in the league, away wins at Liverpool and United, and Brighton knocked out of the cup. Two poor games don’t erase that.
The prosecution? It’s about performances, questionable selections and problems that keep returning.
City’s historic winning runs set exceptional standards, but this team still has to build its own identity.
The MDT verdict: credit for the progress, scrutiny for the setbacks. Neither a manager nor his players should have their season reduced to two games.
City fans: is the crash out justified or premature?

I’ve been thinking about what Schmeichel said.
The successful periods at United didn’t happen by accident. There was a clear way of doing things. A culture, an environment, a standard. People inside the club understood what that meant.
Right now we’re handing major roles to people who spent their careers at clubs that hated us. Wilcox at Leeds and Blackburn. Then years at City. Berrada from City.
You can bring in experience from anywhere, but don’t bring people who don’t want the best for the club because there’s a difference between experience and having people who don’t really care about the club.

So, between Rúben Amorim and Michael Carrick, who do you think made the better signings during their time as Manchester United manager?
Amorim's recruitment brought us Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Šeško and Senne Lammens, with a clear focus on improving our attack and goalkeeping position.
Carrick's first summer window focused heavily on midfield, bringing in Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans and Carlos Baleba, alongside goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
Both managers have brought in players who address different weaknesses in the squad, but the real test is how much quality and consistency those signings deliver on the pitch.
Personally, I think there are some very good signings in both groups, but I'm interested to know which manager you believe did the better business. 😜❤️🩹

🚨🚨 CHELSEA IN TALKS WITH ESTÊVÃO OVER NEW CONTRACT! 🇧🇷🔵
According to Diario AS, Chelsea are negotiating a new and improved contract with Estêvão.
The club reportedly wants the Brazilian wonderkid to become the face of the project as they build for the future.
A special talent, and hopefully the beginning of something extraordinary at Stamford Bridge. 💙
