As much as I dig their action games, it would be a good change of pace for suda to go back to his adventure games since that’s what led to K7, NMH and his other games.

Considering knowing Kojima’s taste, I expect it to be another homerun for oshii after so long, not just another votoms anime esp one without chirico, though that also helps.
The other day, I attended a staff screening of director Mamoru Oshii’s latest film, “ARMORED TROOPER VOTOMS Die Graue Hexe,” and got to see it ahead of its release. WOW!!! Absolutely incredible!!! THIS IS IT!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! Oh, I’m so glad I’ve lived long enough to see this!!!! Welcome back, Director Oshii!!! You’ve completely blown me away!!! It brought back all the reasons I became a fan of Director Oshii when I was young, and reminded me once again why I admired him so much. Director Oshii will always be my mentor. Thank you so much!!! I’ll definitely see it at least three more times in theaters!! In theaters November 20! 👍

It’s fucked nagoshi’s studio got shut down, but given it was funded by netease I should have saw it coming.
Suda51 got and bailed out as soon as he did with romeo.
Sucked too cause nagoshi’s game looked better than any of the newer yakuza’s.
Remember when blue dragon got an anime?
Never watched it but it’s how I learned about the games existing.
I feel like that was one of the most “bigger” game animes at the time but less brought up than the rest.
