If you spot the signs of someone choking, here’s what to do:
1. Call 911 right away.
2. Give 5 back blows using the heel of your hand between the shoulder blades.
3. If that doesn’t work, give 5 abdominal thrusts just above the navel, pulling inward and upward
It can take less than 5 minutes for someone to die from severe blood loss. Save this post to remember what signs to look for during a life-threatening bleeding emergency.
