What I’ve learned from teaching is that while a lecture may seem to focus only on the subject, say, a maths topic, an intriguing discussion often opens doors to lessons from life and morality.
In my experience, it’s many times more effective.
In our very first session, I invited students into thought-provoking conversations during introductions. Together, we shaped some powerful class rules, which I wrote on the board using different colors to make them stand out.
Mistakes teach, love inspires, and pain shapes us, but life softens the moment we stop holding our story so tightly.
