Today in court, the attorneys talked about the proposed dates for certain deadlines. Proposed trial date did not change, proposed summary judgment date changed from November 30 to December 10. Hearing was very short.

Exact wording from our friend who went to court: "Jennifer Keller argued that a protective order (AEO) should be forced in place. AEO means "Attorneys' Eyes Only" and is a protection involving sensitive or confidential information. Keller and Susan Yu also argued that because Carpenter was involved in BS2, it is a concern and is very risky to not have this protection since they are working on the making of BS3. This can jeopardize also any witness and make them feel reluctant to speak. It is imperative that the information gained in discovery cannot be shared with anyone except for the attorneys assigned to the case. The Judge didn't disagree and said that because Michael is a celebrity and a high-profile figure, and that many people and the media are interested in the case, that AEO should be put in place. He requested that an amendment to the case be filed by the 21st of April."

The judge said he agreed with Keller, but no judgment was made today.

Reminder that the next court hearing originally scheduled for March 14, 2025, has been changed to April 11, 2025. Both "parties agree that additional time is required to review the decade-long discovery and litigation history in this case and to then prepare an appropriate and orderly plan for completing the remaining discovery."

The next court date for the Robson/Safechuck v. MJJ Companies has been postponed from March 14 to April 11. Both parties agreed they need more time to discuss issues that will be sent to the discovery referee.
