Asked Barrett Carter why he and Demetrius Knight Jr. chose to speak together in front of their lockers instead of individually: “This is my brother through and through, regardless of win, loss, draw, whatever. Like we say it before every single game. Like you're stuck with me for life. Obviously we play together on the field, but this is a true brotherhood off the field, too. And we're both never satisfied. We could both have the best games of our lives, and we would still be critiquing ourselves every single play, just knowing that it can always be better. So this team, this defense, like we have, we have a culture, and we're still trying to build that, and it's still a work in (progress). But this is my brother for life. This team is full of brothers that I'm gonna have for life, and I will do anything for anyone in this locker room. And we have a lot to clean up, but the Bengals won, and that's something that we're proud of, but we're not satisfied, and we just have to keep getting better.” Say this there’s no disputing that the Bengals are unified on defense, something they will lean on heavily to get better over the final 10 games and hopefully longer.

Dexter Lawrence II “I mean, yeah, it was different because this week we had to be stronger mentally. We didn't blow them out in the next three quarters it was still close all game and that's what it is…it's playing football - you never know what's gonna happen you just got to keep playing and play through whatever comes and that's what we did.”
