Creator careers have a visibility problem.
Everyone sees the launch, the viral post, the sponsorship and the milestone.
Almost nobody sees the ordinary Tuesdays that made them possible.
Don't compare someone's highlight to your Tuesday.

After a week of testing, my in-depth iPhone Duo review is officially live on @gizmodo!
This is the most comprehensive review that I have written for Gizmodo. It's a real labor of love at over 7,200 words, but I hope it answers all your questions about the iPhone Duo!
An all-new iPhone like this doesn't come around every year, so I went hard on this review. (Maybe too hard.)
There's just so much to talk about in terms of the hardware and software
My colleague @adri_or_adriano also poured his heart and soul into the product photography. This is our best work for a review yet and, dare I say, the best product photography ever published on Gizmodo, in my opinion!
Pros:
✨Gorgeous nano-texture display
📖 Barely visible crease
👌 Smooth vari-angle hinge
📱Thoughtfully designed multitasking
⚡️ Powerful A20 chip
🔊 Terrific speakers
🔋 All-day battery life
✏️ Apple Pencil USB-C support
Cons:
💰 Expensive
🫥 Under-display camera stinks
🪨 Heavy
🔭 No optical telephoto
Touch ID instead of Face ID

Things I wish more creators knew about brands #10:
You don't have to pretend you've loved a product forever.
Genuine curiosity is enough.
“I've wanted to try this because…” often beats “I've always loved this.”
You don't need a fictional backstory.
Great creator partnerships have three wins:
The creator wins.
The audience wins.
The brand wins.
If one of those is consistently losing, the model eventually breaks.

I cannot recommend 90s comic trading cards enough for learning characters, powers, stories, and general baseline info fast! The card back blurbs have so much key info and lore (even if some is outdated now).

The creator economy can feel incredibly transactional.
Campaign.
Deliverable.
Invoice.
Next.
But the most interesting outcomes I've seen usually come from relationships that compound over time.
Someone does great work.
The team remembers.
Another opportunity appears.
Trust grows.
The creator understands the company better.
The company understands the creator better.
The ideas get more ambitious because neither side has to start from zero.
Eventually you're not asking:
“Who can we hire for this campaign?”
You're asking:
“What could we build together?”
That's a much more interesting question.
I don't think every creator needs to become an entrepreneur.
Some people just want to make great things.
That's enough.
The creator economy should create more options for creators.
Not another set of expectations.
Yesterday we @elgato launched our first wireless mic. It’s a fantastic product.
Instead of telling you about it, this 2 minute video shows just how versatile and intuitive Wave Go is. Please check it out!
So I tested the @elgato new wireless mic system… and they are less than $100 and GREAT for IRL streaming…😱

Creator feedback is most useful when it describes the problem before prescribing the feature.
What were you trying to do?
Where did the workflow break?
What did you do instead?
That context often leads to a better solution than the first requested feature.

Replying to @MLozada
This is incredible - It ticks so many boxes for my Sim Racing and VR Livestreams, ordered.
