If I'm dropping money on a system, I better get games and experience not available elsewhere.
No reason to buy a console if all its games are available and superior on PC.

The more you interact with high elo players, the less you tend to care about rank.
High elo players are-in some ways- worse than mid elo players. They generally don't think they have anything to improve on anymore, so they don't experiment with playstyles or characters. They rely almost solely on hard meta to carry them- and would probably do worse if they didn't have a meta hitscan option (since a lot of high elo players rely almost solely on good aim). They are more apt to cheat to eek out minor performance gains (trackers, win trading, match dodging, etc).
Generally high elo players are kind of pathetic, and I'm more apt to respect a hard stuck metal rank because they at least know they have things to work on.

As funny as Charlie is, and puts people who deserve it into their place, I just cannot agree with him on this topic.
No, Nintendo doesn't always treat their fans as well as a few other companies do, but I think Nintendo is currently one of the lesser of some MAJOR evils in the industry.
As pricey as the Switch 2 is, it is still the cheapest console you could buy, while it also offers the games that release nowadays.
And OoT Remake could NEVER run on the Switch 1, are we deadass? 💀
