Pathetic. The NBA is hard to watch

New rule in the NBA: You are allowed to take 9 steps without dribbling, and that’s NOT traveling.

As a general rule, when voting and im undecided on an office or have no clue about either candidate in a particular race, i vote against the incumbent. Change is good!

Watching the doc on the ‘82 Brewers. Man, daytime outside World Series games were spectacular.

Family Guy recently made a Civil War version of "Who's on First" that had me crying laughing. It had no business being that good.

A century of New Prague baseball mnbaseball.org/a-century-of-… This story appeared in the 2026 MBA state tournament program and is reprinted with permission. The program became a great success and sold out thanks in part to the dedicated hard work of Bob and Gerilee Greeley, in addition to all the work of the diligent writers who contributed to the program. This is a first of a series of stories that appeared in the program.

PJ Fleck is a really good general manager and non-game day coach. His game management is often hard to figure. @thorku

When you're a kid, your parents can do no wrong. When you're a teen, they can do no right. When you're an adult and they're both gone, you realize they did nearly everything for you. And seeing moments like this, it all comes flooding back to you like a ton of bricks.

This moment from Pete Alonso is awesome. He called his teammates back onto the field after they beat the Blue Jays to salute the crowd after their final home game of the year. I love the leadership from Alonso 💯

Old man rant incoming: I hate team building activities at work. Sorry, but I'm not interested in hanging out w/my co-workers outside of or during working hours. I don't care if it's Top Golf, Summer Potluck or Xmas Party. I suspect leaders really don't care for them either.

Seventy years ago today, Ozzie Virgil Sr. became the first Dominican Republic-born player in AL or NL history. His legacy still runs deep in baseball – today, more MLB players hail from the Dominican than any other country outside the United States. #HispanicHeritageMonth

St. Francis High School Hall of Famer W. Dennie Emmans was born on this date in 1940. He grew up in Crown (between St. Francis and Zimmerman). Dennie's uncle Elmer Hierlinger—also from Crown—is in the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame.
