"Yeah. A quiet enough spot just for us, and our R&R."
That might sound worse than Cerejeira intended for it. She takes to her last couple sips of coffee, emptying her cup, well her first one anyways.
. . . It might be nice. Maybe she could do some reading in the shade. ->
"Huh ..?"
She blinks, actually caught off guard by the suddenness of the invitation. Furthermore, the mention of Lucienne's swimwear threatens to distract . . .
"Uh. Sure, that'd ... make things more bearable."
Whether it's having a friend, or a shield. ->
It's a welcomed optimism. At least in the face of Cerejeira's deadpan, rather blunt kind of way.
". . . Mm. It's okay. Just, a bit awkward for me."
Though, ironically enough, she's beating around the bush with this particular issue. ->
"You'd think, huh . . ."
Cerejeira briefly glances away, practically playing back multiple of Chaldea's previous summer situations. Like clockwork, it'll happen again.
Her attention finds Lucienne again. "I'm not too interested in being on the beach." ->
Cerejeira watched out of the corner of her vision, perking as the cup was placed close.
"Thanks. Even if it's not, coffee's coffee."
She takes cup to hand before bringing the edge to her lips. Eyes falling closed as she samples the first sip, and with it, sweet comfort. ->
"Both, please."
Cerejeira, with an almost uncharacteristic courtesy given how cut and dry she was with most of the staff. Watching as Lucienne moves to help her.
She doesn't seat herself, finding a spot by one counter's edge to lean against. Arms folding beneath her chest. ->
"It was okay."
'Okay' for Cerejeira at least means better than her usual. So, it's a small win of its own. Maybe one of multiple, the way that Lucienne's greeting smile serves a bit distracting.
"Would love one, actually." Her glance wanders towards the running machine. ->
