Average aphid trap counts down again this week. Some still out there though. Keep an eye on remaining fields. Cumulative seasonal vector risk is high this year.

Aphid numbers are down again this week. But our traps monitor flying aphids and it's important to remember that our more recent outbreaks in commercial fields have been in late Aug / early Sept.

There was a significant drop in aphid captures this week. Some species increased (green peach was one) but soybean aphids had a big drop.
But vector numbes are still muchhigher than last year's and our 13 yr average.

Another big jump in aphid numbers in MN & ND,mostly driven by soybean aphid numbers. Green peach and other vectors numerous as well.

Aphid numbers continue sharp August rise! Green peach aphid recovered this week in 4 locations (recommend scouting seed & production fields). Vector numbers & PVY Risk Index increased over last week.

Aphid numbers continuing to rise (up 30% over last week). Soybean and small grain aphids both numerous and well distributed. High diversity of vector species as well.

Aphid vector numbers took a huge jump this week. Soybean and small grain aphids numbers way up, other vector as well. Scouting and appropriate management recommended.

Aphid vector numbers close to last week's. Soybean & cereal aphids common. Watch for more cereal aphids as grain matures.

Aphid trap numbers remain low, but regaional tepmeratures are lowering which will facilitate increased aphid reproduction.

Aphid numbers remain low this week but are beginning to rise - on schedule for our mid-seaons inincrease in aphids.
Soybean and English Grain Aphids remain most numerous.

More sites returning trap captures. Aphid numbers still low; unfortunately recent weather systems, temperatures and growing canopies probably means we'll soon see higher numbers.

A slow start to the aphid trapping season, but some vectors recovered at some locations.
Vectors are flying, time to start scouting.

Overall aphid nos. down. Green peach aphid at two locations (1 in MN and 1 in ND) and potato aphids still active in Central MN. Overall, pops following the 13yr avg

Aphid numbers up from last week. Green peach aphid similar to last week's and represented across the region. Late season no.s are concerning, approp. scouting & mgmt advised for fields not yet vine killed.

Aphid numbers lower this week but Green Peach Aphids were recovered at several sites across the region. Scouting & mgmt recommended.

Aphid no.s much higher than the last trapping period. Green peach recovered at multiple sites. PVY Vector Risk higher than 13yr average but behind last yr. Scouting & appropriate mgmt recommended.

Aphid numbers (& all flying insects) were down across the region again this week (wet weather?). But still scout & manage fields - if the vine's green, by an aphid it can be seen!
