Joseph Smith saw G_d the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ - both G_d. Then he was shown where to get ancient scriptures from an angel and translated it by the power of the Holy Ghost (also a member of the godhead). PS. When Jesus came to earth he was born of the Virgin Mary.
It is nice to see more and more tempered and balanced looks at our faith this year.
This YouTuber made a surprisingly fair and balanced take on our faith and I think his video is worth checking out.

You are a LEGEND @TurnerSportsEJ ! @espn any chance we can slip @blakegriffin23 and @swish41 on the desk when Ernie and Barkley retire after the season ends? 🤩🤩🤩
Actually, probably works perfectly. The 3 witnesses of the gold plates Joseph used to inspire the Book 📖 of Mormon translation left, like King, but never went back on what they said they witnessed. Gold plates or angel. ldsliving.com/what-happened-…
It’s what musicians 🎹 do. And what Joseph smith did is what Prophets do. Same with Brigham Young, John Taylor, Heber C Kimball, etc., on down to @NelsonRussellM, and now @OaksDallinH .
Ed King: “by ’75 the touring was too much for some. Ed King slipped away in the dead of a Pittsburgh night. “It became violent,” he admits. “Pretty much every day was traumatic. But I just had a bad premonition and felt I should obey the urge to get out when I did.”
It isn’t Joseph Smith’s influence at all. He is simply a tool in the Master’s hand. The only continuity is Jesus using a prophet to speak to the people of earth.
Amos 3:7
7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Joseph Smith has been dead for 182 years. When they murdered him; Jesus had a plan. Jesus has used 17 more prophets to get the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to 18 million members (and growing). More than 200 million copies of the Book of Mormon have been printed.
Romans 8:
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Correct. It’s actually the divine Word of G_d by prophets of old that was then revealed to the 1st Prophet of our Dispensation, Joseph Smith, JR. An angel of the L_rd led him to where this ancient record was hidden and the translation of it was revealed to him by the Holy Ghost.
We love the Pearl of Great Price:
3 And God spake unto Moses, saying: Behold, I am the Lord God Almighty, and Endless is my name; for I am without beginning of days or end of years; and is not this endless?
4 And, behold, thou art my son; wherefore look, and I will show thee…
Mormons love quoting the Book of Mormon 📖—so why the silence about the Pearl of Great Price? 🤔
Joseph Smith’s Book of Abraham teaches:
“One day in Kolob is equal to a thousand years” (Facsimile 2). ⏳✨
Even the LDS Church acknowledges that the surviving Egyptian papyri don’t match Smith’s translation. 📜❌
So why trust this supposed prophet? 🤷♂️

Our official invitation: President Gordon B. Hinckley said repeatedly in sermons and interviews, "Bring with you all that you have of good and truth which you have received from whatever source, and come and let us see if we may add to it" (October 2002 general conference).
Another common trope of Mormons/LDS is to call you unchristian for responding to their gratuitous attempts to publicly seduce people out of Christianity and into their pagan cult.
They are trying to shame people into leaving everything they say unscrutiized, even as they constinuously attack Christianity.
(I also didn't say what he says I did about whom Jesus died for, so he's exhibiting dishonest tendencies.)

According to scripture, none of us measure up. Matthew 5:47-48
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Only Protestants know who goes to heaven and who goes to hell… despite Jesus saying in Matthew 7:
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
